Veterinary works in the same was as healing to use bandages to restore hp, cure poison, or ressurect animal and monster pets.

Raising Veterinary: Veterinary is checked when attempting to use bandages on pets. Veterinary is a difficulty based skill - 60 skill will allow you to cure poison and 80 skill will allow you to ressurect.

Gideon's Advice: Have 2 pet horses (low damage output) fight each other and heal them both repeatedly. You should use Animal Lore on them at the same time. GMing both skills is quite fast.
