Easter bunnies roamed the land with their dragon protectors, plopping out eggs for players to collect. The players that collected the most eggs were handsomely rewarded and forced to eat nothing but hardboiled eggs for the next four years.

First Place: Zola, 6705 eggs

Second Place: Ezzenglade, 2800 eggs

Third Place: Aine, 2200 eggs

A massive scavenger hunt was put on by staff to celebrate UO:R's third birthday. Rocks were overturned and the world was searched high and low for the riddler. Drako, Kane, and Vena Sera split the first place prize pot.

Players awake late at night in a Britain inn without their weapons or equipment. Outside, zombies and skeletons roam the streets, attacking the living. Only by working together will the players survive to see the dawn. Welcome to UO:R's Night of Horrors. The event received an impressive upgrade this year, expanding the terror to East Britain and adding several new bosses.

Evil dark elves have been spotted roaming the lands, pillaging and destroying everything in their way. The magic scrolls they possess are gateways to their foul homes: Santa's Lair, the Hidden Village, the Frozen Continent, and the Ice Fortress.

Power of the Night [PWN], Project Sanctuary [PS], Order of the Skull [O^S], and [UO] hosted several public Harrowers throughout 2015. A horde of dragons blocked out the sun as throngs of players showed up to bathe in the waves of platinum.

by Vlar

Players converged on the Royal Britannia Race Track to take part in the Summoner Sprints several times throughout 2015, hosted by Vlar. Players competed in teams of two, with one team member sprinting around the track as fast as they could, while the other casted Walls of Stone to block opposing runners. Much revelry was had, and then the losers were executed afterwards.

(mostly kidding about that execution part...)

by The Village of Paws

Jupiter and Athena posted this missive:

Citizens of the realm! Many of the leading oceanonologists have noticed a disturbing trend associated in connection with Zyler's famous fishing tournament. An unforeseen consequence of this extremely popular anglers event is that many of the fisheries are being over fished leaving little food for the larger ocean species. There have been numerous sightings of massive frenzies of sea serpents, krakens, and other extremely dangerous monsters which are moving closer to land day by day.

In order to prevent these creatures from reaching too far into the bays, we have been tasked with setting up a great barrier net! This plan has been approved by the top academics of the land and has Jupiter's full support as the only way to save ourselves.

To build our barrier net, we have collected a large number of the strongest fishing nets we could find. We plan to toss the special net into place in the following week. More details to follow, but rest assured this is shall be completely safe and has little chance of failure*

*correction note: last sentence should read "this plan is utterly doomed and has no hope for success"

A team of elderly criminal masterminds were on the run. Hidden throughout the world, would-be trackers needed to use their wits to track down and slay the criminal scum. Mes proved to be the premier bounty hunter of UO:R by slaying the most golden girls.

by Senzek

Senzek issued the following challenge to his fellow Renaissancers:

I want to see the most shockingly disorganized homes on the server; the ones that leave obsessive organizers and decorators writhing in agony.

Many stepped up to the plate, but ultimately Mes earned the honor/disgrace of having the filthiest residence on the shard.

The first thing Sir Wembley of Cove felt was grits of sand between his teeth. Then, waves lapping slowly against his naked feet. His mind slowly recalled the previous night. The ship he was on was named "Seas the Day". Wembley remembered being mildly amused by the pun. Pouring rain began shortly after dusk and the ocean became turbulent, though the crew didn't appear phased in the least. The captain of the ship had invited Wembley and the other traveler, an attractive young woman with raven hair, to join him below deck for a couple drinks. The captain was a stout man, obviously no stranger to drink. A wave struck the ship as they started to descend and the captain's cigar fell from his teeth and sailed overboard. The captain cursed. Below deck, they shared a wonderful seven year old whisky and then... nothing. Had he blacked out? Did the ship capsize in the storm? How did he survive?

Wembley was still laying face down in the sand. He opened his eyes and already his head had begun to spin. Where was he? Where were the others? Wembley noticed his clothing was tattered and his belongings nowhere to be found. He pulled himself to his feet and called out. He waited a breath. No response.

Not but a week ago I found myself lying dazed on the forest floor with broken pieces of my lute strewn about me, gagging from the lingering stench of orc in the air. As my memories flooded back to me, I looked down and saw that my feet were bare. My experimental thigh high boots were gone.

You see, in the interest of furthering the studies of stitchcraft and fashion, I have been working on various improvements to the conventional tailoring techniques and in those past few days I had been testing a new prototype of thigh high boots. Out for a stroll and taking notes on the time differential of the spring in my step with respect to various heel heights, an orc or perhaps many orcs, must have seen the prototype from a distance and decided to mug me for it! Of course, it is well known across Britannia that the orcs harbor a perverted obsession with this type of footwear. I should have been more careful during my tests.

by Codus

Codus was a world renown nobody but was a decent enough swordsman and dabbler in the magic arts. But as he went about his day he realized his life could use a change. He heard tale of battle miners digging up the living earth and returning it to dust for profit. This sounded like a much better endevour for his weak constitution then slaying the more human denizens of Sosaria. But first he had to learn how to work the sedentary dirt before he tackled the living ore.

Always scheming, Codus realized he could make a few coin while learning the way of the pickax. Off to Buccaneer's Den to meet with a contact from the life he was leaving and procure an offer to mine out some smugglers tunnels. In the seedy city, Codus purchased some pack animals and set out to create the perfect hidden labyrinth for the Pirates who call Buc's Den their home to store their liquor, gold, peg legs, and whatever else pirate horde.

One by one they gathered at the Project Sanctuary Tower. A group of nine showed up this time - citizens of Stormhold and the Village of Paws were both in the ranks along side Project Sanctuary.

by Nymeros

It has not been long since I have moved to the village of Paws after the horrible experiment gone wrong in Adalet. It has been peaceful at first, despite with the construction going on the small tower south to my house, which seems to attract many birds which sing all the time, and Enna's excessive talioring sounds. I never knew a woman could sew so loud!

The air in Minoc stank of sacrifice. The heath east of town was dotted with forges that bled oily smoke into the sky, and their embers never seemed to cool. Smelting fires lit the quarry better than any of the town's districts as miners immolated ore all through the night.

Impurities were burned away in greasy black plumes that clung to everything. Thatched roofs, tent flaps, and all the town's architecture stunk of acrid smoke. The townsfolk gave up more than clean air for their mines, though. Fishing was not advised in the east river, and Minoc's farmers had been forced to crowd the southwest edge of town with their crops to avoid contamination.

Still, few of Minoc's locals seemed bothered by it; the smell and soot were small sacrifices they made to be recognized as residents of Britannia's principle mining town. A pinched nose was the first sign of a foreigner.

Some strange temporal rift pulled me into the most mind challenging travel. I used every little bit of mental power to keep myself from being scattered into the void. Somehow, I managed to survive.

Slowly, I open one eye. I do not recognize the place. I dare open both eyes! I nearly burn my retinas on all the bling!

  • Hefty upgrades to the Halloween event, with revamped scoring, benefits for crafters, and new challenges to tackle.

by Telamon

Hybrid Guild System
Create a new and improved version of the guild system allowing players more resources when managing and creating guilds. While retaining all of the classic aspects of guilds that players enjoy such as guildstone deeds, guildstones and such.

Cartography / Treasure Hunter Expansion
Extended content for treasure hunters and cartographers. Digging up these new maps will open new challenging dungeons that exist under the felucca ruleset.

Bulk Order System Improvements, New Craftables
Implement a new combined Bulk Order system for the carpentry, tinkering and fletching trades. This system will combine all 3 skills into a singular Bulk Order system to provide the Renaissance crafters with some more crac... err "Things to do".

The Moat System
In order to allow our players to further improve their houses and drastically reduce the item count caused by courtyard blocking items we will be implementing 12 new house styles for the 4 houses that contain courtyards. Players will be able to select these from their house sign and the standard courtyard will be disabled. This will compeltely reduce the need for courtyard blockers, and reduce the item load on the server related to courtyards by 90%.
